Uncharted at Kings Place

Musical pioneers Joby Burgess and Matthew Sharp set off for truly uncharted territories in a foot-tapping, heart-stopping, spine-tingling evening of music for cello, percussion, voice and electronics.

Burgess and Sharp have created a songbook for the 21st Century with songs new and old from Errollyn Wallen, David Bryne and Robert Schumann all given a new twist. Param Vir's dark narrative ...beyond the reach of the world and Osvaldo Golijov's haunting Mariel complete the programme.
